This eclectic coffee house serves the best quality coffee, roasted at their own Jittery Joe’s roaster in Athens, GA. Jittery Joes originated in Athens next door to the famous 40 Watt Night Club.
On hot Georgia summer days, cool off with Jittery Joes most popular drink, the Frosty Joe. It’s served with your choice of flavoring, blended with ice and topped with whip cream. If you prefer your coffee hot, try the Turtle Mocha, a latte with chocolate and caramel. It’s to die for! If you really want some jitter, try the Crackaccino which contains four shots of espresso and frothed milk, or a Shot In The Dark – coffee and a shot of espresso. Harney & Sons premium hot teas are also available for the non-coffee drinkers.
For a special sweet treat, try the delicious scones offered in a variety of flavors like chocolate chip, apple cinnamon and raspberry white chunk, just to name a few. The biscuits are a popular item served with bacon, sausage, egg, ham or cheese. Stop in for lunch and try the Italian panini sandwiches served hot and fresh every day.
Look closely at the tables, which are made from old wooden doors. The walls are accented by artist Todd White whose style is described as rat-pack-meets-picasso. There is also a comfortable sitting area with couches where small groups meet. Saturday night is Teen Night where teens enjoy live bands and karaoke while sipping coffee drinks in a safe, non-smoking environment.
